Christmas at Pea Ridge

This Christmas our church family has followed God’s leading to put together a great mixture of opportunities for fellowship, worship and service. Check out all the details of Christmas at Pea Ridge!

First Sunday of Advent – Hope
Sunday, Dec. 1, 10:45 a.m., sanctuary
Experience the hope we have through the coming of Jesus Christ, and observe the Lord’s Supper together.

Second Sunday of Advent – Love
Sunday, Dec. 8, 10:45 a.m., sanctuary
The love of God was clearly demonstrated through His sending of His Son, Jesus.
Elf Tree gifts are due.

Christmas Dinner
Sunday, Dec. 8, 6 p.m., fellowship hall
Our annual Christmas dinner is a wonderful time for us to gather as a church family and celebrate God’s blessings! Bring a side dish and/or dessert. The main course and drinks are provided.

Third Sunday of Advent – Joy
Sunday, Dec. 15, 10:45 a.m., sanctuary
Knowing Christ brings joy that cannot be extinguished.
Christmas food basket donations are due on this Sunday.

Annual Business Meeting
Sunday, Dec. 15 right after the morning worship service in the sanctuary
At this meeting we will ask for approval of the budget for 2020, vote in new officers for next year, welcome new members and celebrate what God is doing in our church. There will be light refreshments available before the meeting begins. All members are invited to participate, and visitors and those who attend regularly are welcome to observe.

Distribution of Christmas food baskets and Elf Tree gifts
Thursday, Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m., fellowship hall

Fourth Sunday of Advent – Peace
Sunday, Dec. 22, 10:45 a.m., sanctuary
Christ’s coming in Bethlehem and his sacrifice at Calvary allows us to have peace with God, and with one another.

Christmas Eve Service
Sunday, Dec. 24, 6 p.m., sanctuary
Join us as we light the Christ candle, sing Christmas hymns together, welcome our boys and girls to share their Christmas wishes and hear the story of Christ’s birth, and fill our sanctuary with light as the flame from the Christ candle spreads to each of our candles.

Please note: there will be no Wednesday activities on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.
