Almost two years ago, Amy Mink, a very faithful member of our church, suffered a massive stroke. She was only 49 years old at the time. God saw fit to spare Amy’s life and she has made a miraculous recovery. Though not able to do all that she could before the stroke, Amy has made amazing strides. She and her husband Greg have had to navigate a multitude of challenges, including their financial situation. Amy was not able to go back to her job as a nurse and her medical expenses are high. The couple currently needs financial assistance to help them keep the vehicle they use each day. They rely on this car to obtain the things needed for daily living and to transport Amy to and from all of her medical appointments. To avoid losing this vehicle, the Minks need $2,000.
This Sunday, March 1, we will receive our monthly Gift of Hope offering, and our deacons who manage this outreach fund have chosen to dedicate all gifts this month to help the Minks keep their vehicle. We’ll receive this offering after the morning worship gathering and we invite you to seek God about what He would lead you to give. You also can give electronically by visiting the give section of our website or texting the keyword HOPE to 304-521-4043.
